Downtown Seattle at night from West Seattle. The white building with the blue light at the top is the Smith Tower, formerly the tallest building in Seattle. It is dwarfed in comparison to the current tallest building, Columbia Tower, the black building on the left. The Smith Tower was built in 1914. It was the tallest building in Seattle until the Space Needle was built in 1962 for the World’s Fair. The Columbia Tower was completed 1985.
