    Hmmmm….

    wooden slats, shutters, venetian blinds
each piece stamped “BBC” – some faded, some upside-down
    and a reference to “wavelength”

I’ll assume that BBC refers to British Broadcasting Corporation.

I don’t know why venetian blinds would get stamped as property, but that’s my first guess “window blinds”

  • What you see is wood but apart from that you are pretty much on the wrong wavelength, sorry!

We’ll get this fine-tuned eventually. Am I also wrong regarding the meaning of BBC?

  • Blast, you have foiled my cunning plan, now everyone will know it is not the Beeb!

In the lower left corner I thnk we see overlapped joints. This may be a tough one.

Why isn’t anyone helping me here?

  • Ah, you’ve noticed the joints, well done.
I reckon they are taking it easy whilst you do all the hard work.

Is it some type of container?

  • Well yes, in a way, but you may laugh when you find the answer!

Is this something you found at the beach or at the lifeboat museum?

  • This was not found at the beach but it could have been!

They’re deck chairs owned by Bournemouth Borough Council!

  • At last, someone is giving Eric a bit of help… and getting it right!

Not sure I would ever have arrived at this conclusion. The closest I came was thinking about a portable, folding table I have whose top is made of wooden slats held together by cord.

    That was a fun one.

  • I had every confidence that you would have got it eventually!
