I’ve been interested in photography from the time I bought my first 35mm camera for £10 in a second hand shop in Wickford getting on for 40 years ago, and if I used it today I’m sure it would still give good results. I now use a simple and handy Nikon L3 and am also getting to grips with a Sony α 350. I consider that I’m still learning and have been inspired to continue my education by the creativity I’ve seen on this site. My pictures range from the sublime to the ridiculous with an occasional hint of (wacky) humour, which may help explain the occasional corny title I give my work!
I hope you enjoy viewing this ever growing collection as much as I have enjoyed making it and please feel free to comment or criticize; I’ve got broad shoulders… erm, well… I’ve got shoulders.
As this is purely a hobby, the funds I receive if I should be fortunate enough to make any sales will be donated to the R.N.L.I.
Quote attributed to Kenny Rogers (yes, that Kenny Rogers):
‘a picture of Big Ben is just a picture, but if you find a new angle to look at something, or a new way of shooting it, then that makes it a photograph.’
