Welcome to my Profile page…
I’ve been interested in photography from the time I bought my first 35mm camera for £10 in a second hand shop in Wickford 40+ years ago, and if I used it today I’m sure it would still give good results. But now I am getting to grips with a Sony α 350 and still learning.
My pictures range from the sublime to the ridiculous with an occasional hint of (wacky) humour, which may help explain the occasional corny title I give my work!
I hope you enjoy viewing this ever growing collection as much as I have enjoyed making it and please feel free to comment or criticize; I’ve got broad shoulders… erm, well… I’ve got shoulders.
As this is purely a hobby, the funds I receive if I should be fortunate enough to make any sales will be donated to Julia’s House, a children’s hospice in Dorset.
Quote attributed to Kenny Rogers (yes, that Kenny Rogers):
‘a picture of Big Ben is just a picture, but if you find a new angle to look at something, or a new way of shooting it, then that makes it a photograph.’
