    Isn’t it wonderful!! :D
I saw the movie for the first time the other week (have been wanting to see it since it first came out) and I REALLY LOVED it!! Have you seen it?
What a truly incredible woman!! And her work is just from another world – she truly is a unique and special artist! So pleasing to see a movie made to show her immense talent to the masses… especially considering there were hardly any master painter women spoken of in the past.
And Penelope Cruz did the role of her life – I think she was born to play it!!

o yes indeed…i saw the movie with my mum-in-law….it was one of the best movies i’ve ever been to….an amazing life…..an amazing artist…..it was painful to watch at times, but i loved every moment Pip :) She had a way of taking her pain and revealing it through her art, so that you could truly empathise with her :) x

Watching her.. constantly battling her pain… reminded me.. that we all live with pain in many forms… it’s a reality that we must all come to terms with.. much the same as death.. it’s how we choose to feel it, deal with it and express it is the important thing I think.

I hope you’re well sweet lady. Our trip to Paradise beach was so well worth the re-charge of the batteries. Did you get away for easter?
