My Untold Stories
Another entry from my leather moleskin journal.
This was a reflection on how we’ve all got so many untold stories.
I don’t want to go to my grave without passing on my stories that are worth passing on especially if there’s a chance those stories could affect or help another in any positive way.
The same goes for my whole family…. I don’t want them passing without me finding out their important untold stories.
I still don’t know half as much as I’d like to know about my Grandfather’s prisoner of war days and he passed many a year ago. So that story is with my Dad now and once he’s gone the story will be too.
Perhaps I’ll sit down with Dad soon and write it all down?
And then there’s so many of my own personal stories that only I, myself know. One’s that Im’ just not ready to share with another yet… whether emotional, physical or spiritual I just can’t put them out there just yet. I am sure one day though I’ll probably be ready to share them.

wasnt thinking of that.. but you know you may be right.. it might work as say a journal and diary cover for others untold stories :D (think I’d need to adapt it a little to remove the writing that seems to be more personal to me. Good idea Vicki :D x ♥

wonderful sentiments Pippy, so many stories, so little time….i so love stories too… some are meant for the telling, and others are stories meant only for keeping…. but we know when the moment is ripe for the telling, purely by intuition and an urgency to spell it out…. you’ll know the right time I’m sure of it Pip :) xxx this is gorgeous artwork :)

You know this would make a wonderful cover for a diary which you could give to family members, and ask them to write their stories for you…........ and then collect them all up as chapters and bind them together in a little book…you may even have the ways and means of doing something like this for Christmas or some special occsion…you could give each member one for their birthday as a tradition :) xxx

I’m thinking I may expand on it to be more applicable to everybody (rather than more on myself) and see how it turns out. I might then submit to some companies to see if they like it.

This is beautiful Pip, I must have missed it as I was frantically getting ready to go away. We all have untold stories… & as admirable as it is to want to share these to help others, first & foremost you need to determine if it’s telling will help you… Some stories will eat you up sitting inside & others are best left untold… Sometimes it’s just a question of timing… Only you can know.
I totally agree with everyone in this being a great idea for a journal!
