this was one of those one in a million shots. He was just walking across the yard and I was about 10 metres away in between the tree branches with my long lense. Most of the time as I watched him walking through the viewfinder I could see too much of the branches…. then when it came to the spot where this gap between the branches was and the branches perfectly framed him… he suddenly stopped and looked toward me!! I nearly died!! And I swear I didn’t prompt him or call him!! (which is why this photo sends shivers through me)
This photo… along with the one of him ‘pondering’ are the two photo’s that were just miraculous in my opinion – honest to god split second moments captured on camera!!!
Oh and I took this shot on the first day I got my new DSLR camera when I was just outside playing around. Another reason why I feel it was a one in a million.
