*I just love the sky: that’s why I like this picture. Simple as that.

I think I took this outside my little Torpet, a 200 year old Swedish country cottage (with my own wood burning sauna and hand pump on the well), I lived in for 11 months, thanks to the kindness of a very tender hearted lady.

Oh, there is also an image of Jesus and two angels in the clouds. No manipulation, just the gift of Life. Can you see them?*

  • Hi Maureen… we all share the same sky, breathe the same ocean of air, bask in the same sun. Isn’t life a grand miracle!

Oh how I’d love to be laying on my back looking up at that beautiful sky.

  • I did that often when I lived in the countryside of Skona… southern Sweden. Across from my little cottage was this immense field over which the sun set every night. When the sky was like this, I would go out and lay in the field and just drink in the freedom and beauty of it. In early spring ecstatic larks would sing above me, barely visible, hovering and trembling in the sky as their music spilled like a silver shiver of water all over me.
