The Coven
The Coven belongs to the following groups:
Graphic Scratch, Short stories - Spherical Scriptings and WMGI was blackmailed.
They sat around me, cackling and conspiring; blending vanilla apple spells and stirring cinnamon sticks into their cauldron of desire and pleasures of the flesh. They fed me droplet after burning delicious droplet until I was alight with swirls and stars. They wrapped me in gossamer and cajoled wet-thighed wantonness with their recipes:
Eyes of fawn and spice.
Books of incandescence and rapture and incantation.
Charcoal-stained fingers stroking naked canvas.
Bunches of wild magnolia.
Sterling lightning spears dancing amidst the waves of a stormy sea.
Leopard-print stilettos and a violet dress for a night of honey on the rocks.
Trees of lime glow- sticks fading in the light of dawn.
The indigo heart at the centre of an ice sculpture.
September sunlight and roasted almonds with salt.
Fields of scarlet flowers begging to be ravaged.
They bound my hands and fed me hot droplets until I was dizzy with drunken desire, a ravenous believer. I would have talked in tongues for drop after sweet drop to bloom and flower on my tongue, tracing tendrils and vines down my throat, into the licks of blue flame in my belly.
They cackled and conspired.
I clawed and begged and roared. They held their cauldron recipes ransom and brought about my undoing.
‘Fine.’
‘Fine, what?’ They sat around me, a circle of silken ravens; expectant and victorious.
‘I’ll come. ’
They squealed and clapped and returned my deep glass of Vanilla Sky.
‘What time?’
They all answered me at once, their voices boiling and bubbling into each other.
‘Six.’
‘We’ll pick you up.’
‘It’s so time for you to just get back on the horse.’
‘You never know what could happen!”
“Oh hun, you’re just going to love speed dating. When we all go together, it’s so much fun.”
“We’re just so happy you’ve agreed to just get back out there, sweetie.”
“Finish your cocktail sugar, here comes the next round.”

Yes! You’ve combined many of my favourite delights into one deliciously sensual story: cinnamon, vanilla, honey, cauldrons, cackling, wanton desire and the intimacy of your beloved coven….and then given it a fabulously unpredictable twist at the end :) Love love love it!
