a lovely fine piece of art pinky, love it,dawnx

  • pinkyjain replied

Thank you very much Dawn. i did it, all my recent art is now on RB, so i am picking & choosing what to upload, and that itsn’t easy, hee hee. i did this on zazzle, too. Was trying to upload all at Spreadshirt, a tee shop, but you can only upload 20 pieces a day. And i still have nearly 200 designs. all of which still need resizing

oh my no wonder you are so busy hehe but i am sure it will do well for you, lol i dont do tees much, they dont sell for me lol dawnx

  • pinkyjain replied

Yeah, i sell mainly cards, only a few tees. If you have time you might check out www.artamatik.com, lots of products like at zazzle, but it takes patience to resize to fit on some of their items, like their flasks. But its fun and was worth the headaches at the end

Wow, Pinky!! This is such a superb color pencil drawing!!! It’s really great to see all the details and to see the contrast between the warm yellow background and the fierce looking Raven! Great job done, dear Pinky!!!

Ah!!! It’s gorgeous pinkyjain. Love the life in this, the green flecks in the tail and the blues in the wings. Marvelous.

  • pinkyjain replied

Thanks so very very much Paul. When i was working on this book a 1000 years ago, i had access to outdated and out of print books, filled with photographs are drawings, and i sent many letters to ask for permission to copy from several of the photos & illustrations. Even tho the books were out of print i got many letters back from very nice people with the permission to copy. i have those letters for whenever i get this book published. Only a few said no. The art work from the 1800’s is just a fantastic world unto itself, the colors are remarkable, the shapes of Animals of Birds are a bit different then some of todays art, but they are so magical and unique. So i tried to add that to as many of my drawings as i could
