    Thank you Lina. i don’t either, hee hee, he (or she) is in a book i illustrated of Birds & Animals (Insects) from the Bible. It took me 10 years of research & drawing, & i had to get permission to draw a lot of the Animals & Birds from either photographs, or illustrations from very old books. i was working at a library at the time & was able to order books from libraries around the world, very old books, a few were from the 1800’s. A few of the books actually came from places like Egypt, Iran. i’m hoping to get my book published some day

    Thank you so much Karin. No, only similar that they are nocturnal also. They eat Insects. A Bird similar to them here in the states is the Nighthawk.

    No, i think they are still fairly abundant. Since i did my book so long ago, i really should research more & update the habitats of the species, most are in the Iraq, Persian Gulf, Egypt areas, & with all the wars & turmoils a lot of the Animals & Birds are suffering mightily
