love this mood, perfect for b/w

  • Thank you Richard! I’ve been very inspired by a B&W artist on here called ELOX, his shots are incredible and the people are always out of focus but it’s so effective!

Another wonderful capture Nic, brilliant use of perspective and light to really draw the eye into the frame, and the “ghosting” effect on the pedestrians really adds that feeling of transience, a fleeting moment in time…great job

  • you know Jus I’m starting to loosen up a bit in my approach, I’ve learnt from seeing other artists work on here that it’s not just ok to have a bit of out focus elements but sometimes it’s essential! I was so rigid on everything being in perfect focus but I’m learning to see things differently xox

I agree with Melissa and i love the way those lights curve and move you into the scene…wonderful work as usual :)

  • aww thanks M! The curve and line of the lights are what drew me to this spot and then I tried to create a mood somehow =)
