Forstmann Castle atop Slide Mountain, New York, USA.
The Forstman castle is a historic mansion, built in the early 1900’s by Julius Forstmann, a German wool merchant. Today it is part of what is known as Frost Valley YMCA lands. It is a beautifully elegant setting with plenty of space for socializing and great views of the Neversink River and Wildcat Mountain. This warm and beautifully appointed building features 11 private rooms-capacity 23-with two twin beds each. Bathroom accommodations are shared, and the Castle also includes a parlor, dining room, sun room and music room.
