You have a ‘thing’ about catching yourself in the mirror, don’t you, M? Lol. Cool shot :))

I think it is the influence of my teenage daughters rubbing off on me. They can’t go past a mirror without stopping for about 5 minutes!

...you have a keen eye for the perfect reflection… love the ambience!
Tania Rose

I’m trying to work out what those blue thermos things are on the table… something special to that restaurant?
Nice shot… I like your discreetness.
Phones are just such a good distraction for all those times in life we have to wait.

Pip, the blue things are thermo’s of tea. I must admit that when I take these shots what I get to see is how I am actually seen.

WONDERFUL. You’re going to have quite a nice collection of these with you out and about. I’m with Pip, though, what are the blue thermoses? Hot tea?

Oooo…nice one! I must admit I’m taking a lot more photos with my phone, maybe even more than with my real cameras!

You are so funny. :))))) I love how you appear so nonchalant and no one seems to notice. How was your lunch? The last true Vietnamese restaurant I had lunch in was a delightful buffet in Phoenix Arizona and I must say it was delicious.

The lunch was good. I am trying with the self-portraits to capture myself as I am. I think we are nonchalant most of the time – but lose it when we see a camera stuck at us.

lol! loving this on reflection series Martin…it’s a fascinating concept…and get a new iphone;)
Sharon Mau
I agree, it is one of the reasons why I love candid photography so much.

This really caught my eye in the thumb nail. I am glad I clicked on it and had a proper look! I really like it :)

Interesting shot Martin,
Good old self portrait,
I took many after my divorce standing in front of trees and behind the trees. My favorite is standing in front of a grass tree out in the Bunyip state forest. The Grass tree is massive and towers way above me.
