And the black night is over
The dreams swiftly fade
As you fling back the cover
Bright as a penny
The new day appears
Chasing night fancies
And stilling our fears
Birds sing in harmony
Glorious sound
Their notes dropping slowly
Onto the ground
Where flowers with joy
Ope their petals and say
Welcome my friends
To another new day
