Beautiful, does he fly off and come back willingly. I noticed the banding on his leg. Is it a tether?

  • Jen Whyte replied

It’s part of the jesses … he flies demonstrations at Dunrobin Castle in Sutherland … he adores his handler … all the birds they use in the displays can not be released back into the wild.

Great shot Jen. I have been to the falconry display at Dunrobin, but forgot to take my camera !!! I must go back again. I really liked the Sea Eagle – assuming they still have it?

  • Jen Whyte replied

I didn’t see a Sea Eagle but it was two years ago since I was there … ?

    Maybe he was sleeping :)

It was probably about 4 or 5 years since I was there.
