    love the dof and sand detail, now will you please tell us unknowledgeable what a groyne is, it looks like petrified wood to me

    Roslyn: pretty much. Wet wood. Part of coastal defences to stop the transport of sediment off the beach. There’s a whole load more info about groynes on wikipedia.

    Love this one the sand sparkles with a peralesent glow even in b&w.
    Strangely I took a similar pic today except not as good it had an ugly Jack Russell in it and barbwire.

    Thanks Mil, Antanas and dighysailor1 :) Good old b&w. First and, as far as I recall, only, time I’ve used neopan-400. Might have to try some more :)
