A slightly political statement of a juxtaposition from me: closeup of a rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium, aka Fireweed) aligned to form vertical and metaphorical parallels with two large blocks of flats. It could well be symbolic.

Taken in Dundee from up the Law looking out over the city and especially the football ground.

    yes, I see your point, this is the kind of photo that does not reqire any explanation. I like the detail of a grey sky, a blue one would not have the same impact.

    Excellent pic twin towers and Phil O’Donnell only the good die young springs to mind.
    On a botanical note it’s fireweed originally from the Americas and came to this country in the ballast of ships and lumber from Canada

    Wonderful capture Interesting message! You’re right calico about its American plant; but God or Nature created this work of wonder? We Americans had nothing to do with that!
