I did battle avoiding many humans to make this photograph – Glenfinnan is a completely overpriced tourist-trap, the monument thronging with annoying people getting in the way of a reasonable photo. But as I sat at the head end of Loch Shiel – on this dead tree branch – the longer I waited, the more people weren’t there, and nature both restored and was restored.
Taken on the Shen-Hao large-format camera using Fuji Velvia-100 film, for about a 45s exposure.
