A closeup of lichen yellow/orange/rust-coloured patterns on slate, taken in shadow light at Easdale (where there used to be quarrying of slate for use world-wide) using the Shen-Hao large-format camera.
Thanks! The joys of large-format, definitely. It was taken as the sun went in, so it’s uniform contrast across the frame and all tinted blue off the sky behind me. Playing with light is fun :)
