Morning
What do you want to know?
Sunlight on early autumn morning mist in the remnant of the Caledonian Forest at Glen Affric .
Taken on a Linhof Technika 5×4” camera using Fuji Velvia (RVP) film and a Rodenstock 210mm lens. Tiny flecks of bokeh are visible through the tree leaves.
The scots pine trees are up to 500 years old and have been present on that site for up to 8000 years.
Rescanned from my archives: originally taken in September 2006.
This place is me.

lovely shot Tim, after reading the discription and seeing the age of the trees, it explaned to me why the photo has such a ethereal feel to it, well done and keep scanning in these shots.

Thanks Roslyn :)
Yup – it was an amazing moment to behold there. Those trees are so old and tall and gnarled :)
