Through the tunnel
A view with the dark inside of a tunnel forming a silhouetted outline to the jagged roof line and distant cliff-tops beyond, taken at Dunnottar Castle.
From the first roll I developed in Moersch Tanol, a staining developer with gorgeous tonality and low grain.

Excellent framing! B&W is fantastic

Thanks folks. Hmm, I might have seen a few puffins there but I don’t recall which trip to the place that was (having been there at least 4 times so far and counting :)

Fantastic BnW,fab use of framing!
PigleT
Thanks davidmilne. :) It was quite a blighter – ISO50 film, all very nice tones and all that, but left me rather wider aperture than I’d’ve wanted and slower speed (1/30th) and stuck into the side of the wall at a rakish angle to get that framing and positioning and hold it steady. Fun! :)
Craig Hender
Stunning B&W.

I like the framing here as well as the subtle tonality. Good that the sky hasn’t burned out here, I know the challenges posed by exposure in scenes like this.
PigleT
Thanks all :)
