Comics are incredibly difficult to do as you have to tell a story purely with pictures – and you did it so well! The ending forces you to take a moment to deal with the complex mix of emotions: humour in the comical way the man has been ‘mashed,’ pleasure that the man got his comeuppance, and then sadness when you realise the tree sacrificed his life to save the other and the grief-like expression of the tree still standing. Fantastic work!
Waw :) you don’t know how much pleasure it brings me to hear that!!! The main goal for my work, (as many others i think) is to induce emotion in the spectators/readers of my work. Reading this really brought the biggest smile on my face in months!!! Thank you so much!!!
