I’m in that Hell on Earth and it’s black and it’s smoky and it’s hot and I’m coughing and I’m spluttering and I can’t see and I’m wet with my own blood and I’m disorientated and I’m in terrible pain and I can’t find a way out and the deafening creaking and groaning of steel persists and all my nightmares embody themselves not only in the darkness but also in my mind and just when I finally begin to become accustomed to the reality of death I hear a whimper of a young office junior close-by with 2 broken legs so I discover an extra reservoir of strength and give myself a challenge because if I can somehow get this girl to daylight then I reckon I’ll be forgiven not only for the things I did but more importantly for the things I didn’t do I reckon I’ll be pardoned on the condition that I save this girl from perishing with me in the concrete rubble because a life for a life is fair and my bleeding is so profuse I know I can’t have long left I’m feeling weaker and more exhausted with every dusty toxic breath but I have to be ready because this is my one and only final last chance to make good a joyless life of sorry ifs and buts we’re talking redemption here ah what’s that narrow shaft of light I see ah a glimmer of hope beckoning me calling me gritting mein teeth I head towards….

I started off with collage, moved onto digital, and am now at the point of sketching with pen. I hope to move onto graphite and manga style drawing. I also sculpt and paint with clay.
