Great DOF and focus (Again…you have a talent for it it seems)

I may have white balanced this then increased the colour saturation/vibrancy with a hue/saturation layer in photoshop.

For me the simplest macro shots work best. Try to get several things in shot and its a pain in the butt to get the DOF right.

Thanks Alan….. I don’t remember doing much photoshoppping on these but maybe I did a little curves and that affected the colour I certainly didnt use a photo filter or hue saturation. I like a DOF similar to my own eyes but that is hard to get. I really shoul dhave removed that stray petal on the LHS

I don’t feel like it is out of focus; I feel like it has a soft focus…..as for the color, it is my experience that Daisies come in a wide variety of colors including that in your image…...I truly enjoy this image…...beauty is all in the eye of the beholder!

This is one of my favourite flowers – the osteospermum – they grow wild in the fields of Africa, I believe, in various shades with the blue buttons – love the blue hues .. Can you imagine seeing a whole field of them??? Wow .. Lovely!

A simple, well balanced shot with gorgeous tones and flowers that seem to glow from there hearts. As for the requested honest criticism, the one slightly mangled petal in the lower left corner is a bit distracting.

Hadn’t seen it, I usually avoid reading other comments as they influence mine to much as my English is only limited.
