the alcan.. highway.. you gotta go to that link and read up n it.. six months only !.. it took for them to make this highway.. soldiers made it for ww2.. I lived in Alaska 18 years..

keep trying.. but!.. you can also just drive up and plant yourself there.. oh my !.. homesteading I think is allowed in some places.. but start in the summer.. start in end of April.. take plenty of cold weather gear.. and plenty of mosquito spray.. and your eight grandkids..
