Sailor of the Northern Lights (Poem only)

The sailor stands,
Upon his ship,
Ready for his,
Nightly trip.
Wind blusters through,
His tousled locks,
As he prepares,
To leaves the docks.
He fly’s out free,
Towards shining moon,
Through Milky Way,
And starry dunes.
His sailboat glides,
Through winter skies,
Of rolling lights,
Like colored dyes.
It rides upon,
Bare wisps of clouds,
As he steers straight,
And tall and proud.
Sailor of,
The Northern Lights,
Flys through the dark,
And starry nights,
And travels down,
The ribboned road,
Of spectral lights,
Red, green and gold.
And when his trip,
Has reached it’s end,
You’ll see him flying,
Round the bend.
Not to return,
Till next comes night,
To once again,
Ride Northern Lights.

Sailor of the Northern Lights (Poem only) by

This is a poem i was commissioned to do with a digital art piece for the Northern Lights Series. Sorry about the weird spacing… I’m not sure why red bubble is spacing it like that instead of the way i did it but… oh well. :P
