I am an amateur photography hobbyist, drawn into nature photography due to a keen interest in Mother Nature, starting in my own back yard. In return, photography has taught me that there is more to Mother Nature than meets the eye, at least at first glance. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, always hoping to get the definitive picture of whatever subject I am after; more often than not, however, letting the “big one” get away. I now seen things I have never noticed before, or see familiar things in new ways. I love it.
