I have a background in travel photography, and I’ve been travelling for most of my adult life,so I’ve seen and experienced a lot of places. My spiritual home is Greece.
My fascination with photography began in my Father’s dark room. The womb-like, red-lit space in which magic images appeared on blank white paper….
Ultimately for me, the only thing that matters about ‘art’ is: does it move me, make me laugh or cry, touch me in some way. Very few visual images move me in the way that music for example, can, and I would be surprised if they did, but now and again it happens.Such images, photographic or otherwise have got that certain something that I myself am trying to capture in my own way. Anything can catch my eye. I usually find photos rather than make them. I work intuitively and emotionally most of the time; from the heart or from the gut if you like.
I hope that some of my pictures will move you, that’s really what it’s all about. If you can spare the time, your feedback will be welcome, and if you buy something…well, that’s the icing on the cake.
Thanks for taking a look.
