A reflection of the iconic Stac Pollaidh in a wee lochan ( small lake ) near Drumrunie, on the side of the Ullapool / Lochinver road. Scanned from a Fuji Velvia slide / transparency, therefore will be a little grainy…..purists will like that !
Stac Pollaidh belongs to an area known as Coigach, or Inverpolly, which lies within the unspoiled wilderness of the NORTH WEST GEOPARK, in the very far North West of Scotland. An area totally beloved to me.
Shot on my trusty old / first camera, a Ricoh KR10 Super, for which I had immense fondness……and set me on a lifetime of interest !
