Chobe National Park, Botswana. Africa.
We had a most memorable trip in a small boat on the Chobe River, where we saw a huge amount of wildlife, including many Elephant Families. This is just one of them.
Rather than cropping in tight, I chose to photograph the animals showing their environment, which I thought was very beautiful in its lushness ! Someone has pointed out that the tree on the left bears an uncanny resemblance to an Elephant !
Shot on my Canon EOS 40 D, Tamron 28-300 lens set at 28mm, polarising filter, f6.7 at 1/125sec, iso 200, hand held in a moving boat !
RAW file processed the normal way in Adobe CS3.
