Monument Valley. Road Shot at Sunrise. Arizona. USA by

The much photographed road shot, taken at sunrise.
All I had to do was get up early and wait for “it” to happen.
The early bird catches the worm !

Scanned from a Fuji Velvia transparency, image shot on my Ricoh KR10 super, mounted on a tripod and polariser fitted, f22, iso 50, don’t know the shutter speed !
Scanned with my Nikon Coolscan VED into Adobe PS CS3, with a little dust and noise removal.

The really wonderful touch to this shot is that you chose to let the road form a ribbon that leads diagonally to the heart of the image. Favourite, as soon as I clicked on it.

Gorgeous Landscape Portrait, dear PhotosEcosse! I personally like the shadows because the add so much reality & contrast to this. The colors orange & blue are also key players in this piece!

Rolling down a strip of asphalt,
I am taken with the idea,
Although I feel my body and significance,
My view is within my body’s world.
I see that brilliant orange and red,
The blue behind your rocky head,
and still, from 300 miles away,
I am invisible to anyone but God.
