Driving along highway 78 near Absarokee early one morning, I spotted this scene begging to be photographed. I adore Western Montana, it has so much going for it – Glacier National Park, beautiful mountains, forests and lakes, good arable land and prairies, lovely wild flowers, abundance of wildlife, and great people too !
Sorry, I have no name for the wee lake !
Shot on my Canon EOS 40D, on a tripod, with polarising filter attached, f22, 1/6 sec, Auto WB, RAW file processed in Photoshop CS3, with just minor levels/curves adjustments. A little boost to the colours in LAB mode.
