A huge menacing cloud approaches Kyleakin Harbour. The ruined castle dates back to the twelfth century.
Shot on a Canon EOS 40D, mounted on a tripod, with polariser attached to the lens, then a single RAW file was processed in Photomatix, (pseudo HDR) again in Photoshop CS3 for a few adjustments. Shot in aperture priority mode at F22. iso 100. 20mm. Auto wb. Sharpened in Lab mode.
As always in the Highlands of Scotland, things were too transitory to do a five exposure HDR, the wind came along and ruined the reflection !!
