Where else would you want to be on a morning like this ? The Elk were bugling across the Lake, it was warm, the air was very still, reflections all around me, gorgeous mountains everywhere….........
felt like I was in heaven !!
All I had to do was get down a very steep bank on the lakeside – then get back up, Help !!

Shot on my Canon EOS 40D, mounted on tripod, polarising filter attached, f22, 1/15 sec, iso 100, auto wb, shot at 50mm on my 18-55mm lens, RAW file processed in Adobe Camera RAW, then CS3 with tweaks in levels/curves and selective colour.

This is a beautiful photo! The color and composition are perfect. I’ve been nagging my son to take me over there fo get some pictures, but the closest we’ve come this year was Lake MacDonald.
