Saint Mary's Lake in Fall.
Saint Mary’s Lake is in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA. I believe I was rather lucky to get such a calm day as I witnessed here, since I was told that for quite some weeks they had been experiencing unusually bad weather for the time of year ! Glacier is an amazing place, with its primeval mountain shapes, and abundant wildlife, lakes and waterfalls, and many good trails. I was hearing the Elk bugling across the lake as I shot. I would recommend this magic place to anyone !
Shot on my Canon EOS 40D, mounted on tripod, polarising filter, f22, 1/30 sec, iso 100, auto WB, Raw file, processed in Adobe CS3, selective levels/curves and selective colour adjustments. I sharpened with Intellisharpen 2.
