My favourite place in the Western Highlands of Scotland.

Shot on a Canon EOS 40D with polarising filter attached, mounted on tripod, f22, 1/30sec, iso 100, Auto WB,RAW file processed in Adobe Photoshop CS3, levels/curves adjustments, selective colour, and finished with LAB colour.

    I used to get a spectacular UK photo magazine(they are absolutely the best of the best) years ago, Photo Answers, and I remember the beautiful images of Scotland…

    I remember Photo Answers VERY well, it is where I learned to use my first SLR, and where I first of all sold an image or two !! No, not ALL of Scotland is as photogenic as the West Coast, but I may be a little biased !!

    yes, I learned a lot from PhotoAnswers too. Was very upset when it stopped publishing. It was expensive in north america, but I bought every issue, and still have them.
