This is magnificent.
The sense of scale provided by the smallness of the building is brilliant. The colour is fantastic. The compostion is great. It is just a superlative photo with great great feel and mood. Congratulations on taking such a brilliant image.

This, as I’ve probably told you before, is the shot on your portfolio that clicks all my buttons. A magnificently moody mountain which looks different every time it’s viewed.

Tucked in the folds of the mountain high
That any would live here I know not why
For the earth seems devoured by the lowering sky
As the weather comes rolling down
Tiny stone cottages centuries old
Pull slopes about them to keep out the cold
Tis a bonny life so I’m told
As the weather comes rolling down
The drama of storms encompasses all
The constant damp from continual rainfall
Yet many remain to answer the call
As the weather comes rolling down
Oh take me there where the sky meets the earth
Where living is valued beyond monetary worth
And comfort is the coziness of a good hearth
As the weather comes rolling down

You have brought my poetry forth with this dramatic vision of the inclement weather rolling down!
Thank you!
