My name is Barbara Jones, and I use the pseudonym ‘Photosecosse’ which simply means photos of Scotland !
I am incredibly lucky to live where I do, just on the doorstep of the Isle of Skye, where the weather is pretty savage, but when the light decides to play along, you will find here your ‘pot of gold’ ! Mountains meet the sea, where the drama continues, with rugged and wild rocky shores. Combined with many islands thrusting out of a jade coloured sea, how can I do anything other than what I do, and attempt to capture ” the moment ” with my camera ?
I also like to travel a bit, and to capture the essence of what I witness in those countries. I hope I do them justice.
I am country born and bred, and have an intense love of what I see around me, and attempt to interpret that emotion in my art.
