Which city do you think this is? by

The photo above and the next 2 photos below were all taken from the one spot. If you look at the photo below, there is an 80 storey block of apartments being built and it’s already up to about the 60th floor.

The photo below is the view to the left…

and if you go into the skyscraper in the photo above, the photo below is is the view looking towards where I took the photos.

This is George St Brisbane, between Turbot St and Roma St.

Hello, I’m Graham & my main interest is capturing the light as I see it. The only filter I use is a UV and I try to capture the scene exactly as I see it through the lens – I don’t crop any of my photos and what you see is what I saw when it was photographed, exactly as it came out of the camera. I have a passion for landscape photography, nature, old buildings, panoramas and low light situations – either indoors or outdoors.

Gonna say have to be Brissie! [before I scrolled down ] seeing old McWhirters/ McDonnell and East, think that was the highest I remember. fabulous goods and weh we moved there, 1967 they used to open at 8.50 am close at 4 40 pm ? Maybe gave the staff time to pack up before they finished at 5.00. even then it [shop ] seemed "Olde Worlde .

  • I used to think the store was huge but look at it now, dwarfed by everything around it. I used to enjoy the cafeteria on the lower ground floor. Now there’s a grassed square across the road and Tank St beside it is closed off for the pedestrian bridge. Cheers.
