Big Ben up close
Some of the detail above the clock of Big Ben, London, England. Completed in 1858, long before long distance lenses were invented, the quality of the work is amazing, especially when the person in the street of the 1850’s had no way of ever seeing the detail as close as we are able to view it now.
Big Ben up close belongs to the following groups:

BEAUTIFUL architecture, well captured!

Yeah they were doing rock climbs up the side of it and I was lucky enough to get the last place. I had the rope in my mouth while I took this shot! LOL. Cheers Ron.

Thanks Gina. I’m amazed too at how neat they did everything as they wouldn’t have known that one day we’d be able to get this close. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
