G’day, I’m Graham from Brissie – (that’s Brisbane if you aren’t familiar with Aussie slang names). My interest in photography goes back over 46 years and I’m a very keen amateur. My main interest is capturing the light as I see it. The only filter I use is a UV and I like to photograph ordinary “run of the mill” scenes and I usually take a step or two back before taking the photo and that way I get a bit more detail in the foreground in my shots. I try to capture the scene exactly as I see it through the lens – I don’t even crop any of my photos and what you see is what I saw when it was photographed, exactly as it came out of the camera. I have a passion for landscape photography, nature, old buildings, panoramas and low light situations, either at sunrise or sunset or at night. I mostly snap photos when I’m on holidays, otherwise it’s just the weekends.
My camera is a Panasonic DMC-FZ30GN.
