Dual elevators the one going down is a very fast ride! Wave sets of 25-30 feet rolled in to Newport Beach on Friday and Saturday. Friday a seasond body boarder lost his life. Today I watched them fish at least five people out of the water and by 10:30am they closed the beach to all swimmers and surfers. I was glad I got there early. They actually had surfers being towed into the surf inside the harbor. The swell was comming straight in and was really something to see. The crowed gathered together to see this event was really something also!
