Thank You very much Beve Brown-Clark .for nominating me to the Pay It Forward group. Beve had this to say about my image, “A wonderful perspective on a much photographed area. Most aim higher up in to the mountains tops from vista and viewing points, this gentleman take a different route…a different perspective. What makes this image for me is the perspective….the light and the beauty of fresh snowfall.” This is Truly and honor and to know that out of all of the outrageous artists on the Bubble you have picked this image to nominate for this award, humbles me. I am Grateful..
Yosemite National Park, Yosemite CA. Here is the Landscape view of Yosemite Valley at sunrise with a blanket of snow. The whole valley awash in golden light. What a magnificent sight, and such a willing subject. This image came together for me. I really wanted to capture the marshmallow look of the snow upon the rocks against the golden sun coming off of El Capitan. I was not disappointed.! image was shot with a Cannon 1DS Mark ll and a 24-70 mm wide angle lens

I reside in Yucaipa CA. I am a member of the Redlands Camera Club and I have received many awards for my images.I am currently using a 35mm Canon 1Ds Mark ll SLR camera. Images are available with very high resolution. My preferences are for Landscape and Architecture. Vivid Colors are my specialty. I live for sunsets and sunrise. You can also find me on jpgmag.com/people/patrick

I like this even better than the other.
    Davo

  • Thank you Davo, I think a lot of people will. I was holding out for a while to give people time away from the other one so that this would look new and fresh. I think the lighting in this is just as outrageous as the other. Theres just more info to take in. I have photographed this spot on numerous occasions in all seasons . This has been my favorite.

    Love this shot!
So beautiful with the snow covering the ground.

  • Good afternoon Estes. Thank you for the compliments I have always wanted to go to Yosemite during or right after a snow event. Its kind of sketchy driving on the icy roads but I went for it anyway. What a great experience. I will deffinately do it again.
