This was totaly unreal, It happened after a late afternoon thunderstorm and I drove as fast as I could to find something to put in the foreground. I posted the three images so people could see the whole horizon. Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks Terry, i think a lot of people who saw the sky that evening were treated to something really neat, I saw pictures of it the next morning in the paper but not with this kind of scenery.

Well…..it’s almost too good to be real, but I once saw a similar sunset in St George so I know it’s possible. Gorgeous!

Thanks Chuck, Thats why I posted the other images to go along with it. That night was incredible actually the whole day was. I had a bolt of lightning go off right next to my car. Sounded like I was shot with a cannon there was no difference from the flash to the boom, they happened at the same time. I went out to Amboy on Route 66 and tooks some images out there and capped the day off with this .
