Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.
Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.
My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.
Gorgeous. Young Black Angus. Sweet capture.
Thanks very much, Bunny!

Wonderful capture Arla
Thank you, Carol!
Whenever a cow looks at me, I feel like…it’s all my fault. Good picture.
I DID feel guilty, looking at them out there in all that cold white stuff, and wondering what they would find to eat there?
ahhh…remembering lots of mornings here in Kansas that resembled this image. :o) I LOVE cows…but really glad I don’t have to get out in the snow anymore to shoo them off the road so I could get to school on time.
I hear ya, Carla/Jandelle – These range cattle have no barns to get under, and not a haystack in sight. It’s very odd to see them out there, this time of year.
Thank you, Rasim!
Congrats Arla! Love these cute cows on the snowy road!
Thanks, T-Lyn — They looked hungry to me.
Great capture Arla ~ looks very cold there but lovely :)
Thank you Susie! Yes, it was very cold.
Thanks VERY MUCH, Jennifer!!
