Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.
Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.
My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.
Wow, gorgeous capture Arla!
Thank you, Barbara!

Beautiful Arla! Haven’t seen a rainbow in ages but can imagine how glorious a sight this must be arching over the vast landscape. Inspiring capture and words.P.S. On the subject of hope, did you see this story about our hero Kent?Congratulations on your Feature! …Sylvia
Thank you, Sylvia! We are so blessed here, to see many rainbows – especially in spring and fall. Now in drought, and wildfires consuming what little forest we have left, the symbol is more powerful than usual.
I saw the story of Phoenix on Utah news, last night – they did not mention Ken. He’s awesome!
