Artist's Description

Just a quick shot to let friends know that I have not fallen off the ends of the Earth – altho, at times, it certainly does feel that way.

On July 19, 2011 a federal judge lifted the temporary injunction granted to Cloud Foundation, thus allowing BLM’s planned wild horse removal from the Triple B HMA in Nevada to proceed.

Wild horses are regularly gathered and removed from their native ranges to make room for cattle and other profit-generating livestock. This roundup resulted in the removal of nearly 1,000 mustangs; most of which were eventually shipped to pastures in the midwest, where taxpayers pay for their upkeep in perpetuity.
