Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.
Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.
My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.
Gorgeous, excellent framing
Thank you, Byron!

I can smell em Arla :), lovely! I miss my Lilac tree. Just may plant another now!
Thank you, Darcy! These bushes are more than 50 years old, and they lived thru many many years of no attention whatsoever.
Very lovely. One of the few things that doesn’t grow well in California.
Thank you, Bunny! It may be too hot or too humid? These hardy rascals seem to grow anywhere there is water, here. These particular bushes are at least 50 years old.
Reminds me of my Grandmother and our family farm…what I wouldn’t give to step back in time (with my camera… LOL) and take pictures back then!
Lovely shot Arla…makes a very nice card!
I love the smell of the purple Lilac. Beautiful and Sentimental
Thank you so much, George!
