Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.
Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.
My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.
this is a great capture :) well done~!
Thank you, Pallyduck – just simple fun setting up for a vintage portrait shoot. The set still life turned out better than the portraits. :D))

Thanks very much, Lynn!Yes. this is an old dugout/tie cabin behind my gallery, that I sometimes used as a backdrop for “wild west” portraits.

What’s happening there? Outsiders wanting to change things?
Yes. If you call wanton destruction “change”.
