Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.
Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.
My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.
Oooohh, beautiful!!! love those stripes!
Thanks, Kim!I don’t think I have ever seen a coyote this color, before … and her coat seems awfully heavy for midsummer …

Stunning, and beautiful capture!!!!!
Thank you very much!!
I’ve seen a lot of coyote coats, and I don’t remember one like this either. She’s a zebra:)
Or tiger … ? :D
Gorgeous! We have two types of coyotes here…one type is almost as big as small wolves (which we don’t have), and then the other is smaller and scragglier. Then we also have tiny kit foxes that are adorable. None of them look like this beautiful creature. Awesome capture!
Beautiful animal! Unusual coloring. Great capture, Arla~Lynn
Wow … now thats an interesting pattern. Maybe a throw back to some ancient fur color.
very nice shots Arla.. she looks lean and mean..
